2019 Rhys Late Disgorged Estate Rosé (750mL)

Last year, when we released our debut vintage of Estate Rosé it was a hit with both our members and the press. This special late-disgorged bottling shows what a remarkable difference an additional year on the lees can make. Antonio Galloni of Vinous rated it 93 points and wrote  “The 2019 Estate Rosé (Late Disgorged) is another fabulous sparkling wine from Rhys.” Profoundly textural, the fineness of the mousse is captivating, as is this wine’s complexity. Blended from 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir from both Bearwallow and Mt. Pajaro, it offers delicious nuances of strawberry, cherry and watermelon, as well as hints of fresh herbs, yeasty bread and spice. Elegant, refined and beautifully age-worthy, this is a serious wine and a sensational sparkling rosé.
